Kirk Abramowski purchased this perfectly detailed little bungalow with plans to add on to the rear to better suit his lifestyle, and simultaneously renovate the home's exterior to enhance its natural beauty. The porch addition we designed replaced the existing outdoor back porch with a new enclosed sitting porch, leading down to a mudroom that also enclosed the existing basement entry. Since the basement housed his laundry room and some often-accessed storage, this was a great convenience. We worked hard to design the addition to match the existing home's lovely, simple craftsman style, and I think the result is just right.
