Arnold and Ann Pickar's charming home in southeast Portland fit them just right, except for one thing: the back corner room was a little small for what they wanted to use it for. The corner room addition expands the room a few feet out into the back yard which added the additional space they needed. At the same time, the view was greatly improved from that room into their beautifully landscaped back yard, plus gained direct access from the room out onto their back deck and down into the yard.
