Chris and Emily Boniface loved their old Portland foursquare, but the kitchen was definitely lacking. They called on my friend Janie Boyl to re-design their kitchen and add a small powder room. She in turn requested my help to prepare drawings for the project. The old kitchen was poorly laid out, and lacking in preparation areas and storage space. By re-purposing the pantry and enclosing a small unused back porch, we were able to make much more effective use of the available space. The final result definitely shows Janie's keen eye for detail, and I'm happy to have helped them all realize their goals in creating this wonderful new space.
